Quiet radio is a radio that wishes to be quiet. She is jealous of the modern mobile phone with in and out and to and fro. She is sad when people hate her music and turn her off for the adverts. She has decided to print poetry, quietly, and as and when she pleases. You may come down in the morning to Elian Gray the Rapper, or John Keats the Romantic. Little bits of paper, names left off, pretty paper gone, left only with the words.
Currently the program controlling the poem has a stream of poems pre-programmed into it. Version 2.0 will access a folder of poems curated by poet Talia Randall. It will never repeat itself.
Quiet Radio is the first in the series of The Object Dreamed of Being Something Else.
